Time is really short. By the time I realize that the world is round and not flat, it is time for me to go back to Suzhou already. I really don’t feel like going back at all. A part of me wanted to stay but a bigger part of me told me that it was time for me to leave before it I won’t be leaving at all. With a sad emotion at my heart, I went out with my buddies. To celebrate Jason’s birthday that will fall in April and to randomly go out with Vincent to catch up with old times (not that we really did). Anyhow, the blog post is not about me, not wanting to go back to SZ. This blog post is about the places that I went to for dinners.
Jason and I went to Chinoz on the Park at KLCC for dinner on Monday and it is highly recommended. The price is somewhere near to Dome but it is nice. I ordered a set of meal that came with soup, starter, main course and dessert while Jason ordered the Risotto and Ice Coffee. The best thing about Chinoz is the dessert. Yummy!!! Talking about it is enough to make me drool. The just ‘ngam-ngam’ in sweetness Banana Toffee cake and the Cappuccino Parfait were delicious. Really would like to come back here in summer to give it a try again.
Vincent and I decided to go to Jake Charbroiled Steak house at Starhill. Hiding in a corner of no where, this place is a cowboy restaurant but serves Australian beef. O.o What an irony… Anyhow, we went there for dinner to try out the steak but then realized that they are more famous for something else. Out of 3 tables that we were not empty on that night, 2 actually ordered fresh oysters. So, I think oysters is their main selling point and not the steak. Well, not that the steak was not nice to eat, it was delicious actually. Just that we saw the others happily eating the oysters rather than steak. XD
