Lesson is back to normal. But then, the definition of normal can never be found with all these common tests in between. Monday, students told me, Maths test. Today, bio test (Thank you morning people for giving me the call and reading quietly in the class.). Tomorrow, psychology test. Test here, test there and test everywhere and here we are, teaching them, how to write letters. I wonder if the dissemination of the information can ever move into their heads. Most probrably not. Coming from one who was a student before. Who would be intersted in listening but then, as a human being, we just need to learn how to be a multi-tasker. Doing all sorts of business in one particular time. I have learnt it and now it is time to let the students learn how to be a multi-tasker. Doing everything in one particular time. It's very easy actually, just like doing assignment, surfing the internet, listening to games sound tracks, chatting in MSN and eating at the same time. Multi-tasking. Yeah. That's the way it should be man baby.
I wonder if being a multi-tasker and a last minute worker is really a good thing. I just don't know. It is just that, it is in everybody genes that has altered out vines to move in a way where we are supposed to be lazy and not to be creative or outstanding. Yeah.
Everybody in the world, it is a good sign to be lazy.

Well, the same thing happens in my class too. Letter writing- not a very interesting thing to learn and it is rather troublesome considering the fact that the format is different and that we have to add in topic sentences and supporting sentences, as a student, the info that reaches the brain would probably be 100% but if lessons can be made interesting, I'm pretty sure students will absorb more than usual.
I think being a multi-tasker is a good thing but not a last minute worker. By being a multi-tasker, you would know how much you have achieved in doing something and you get to have things done at the same speed. In that way, nothing gets left behind. Besides, you get to save time (although not much). On the contrary, multi-tasking doesn't keep you focused if there are just too many tasks. Students would have to choose wisely what tasks they want to finish in that period of time.
As for a last minute worker, I think this last-minute-work-that-brings-good-results only works in the beginning of the year. Towards the end of the year, last minute work is a big NO-NO.
But then again, it's just a point of view. No hard feelings ok? :)
Don't worry Kevin, I'm also a multi-tasker. Doing assignments, lab reports while playing games, chatting on MSN and surfing the net. Its good though. I've read it in the Reader's Digest. :p
hahaha...no hard feeling. the teaching is entirely based on the lesson plan prepared by the department. i just changed here and there. hehehehe...letter writing is boring for me too. dunno how to do it. hmm...any idea how to make it more interesting? i am running out of it. :)
